Meet Our Team

Manish Dave

Founder and managing trustee at Sabras Manish Dave is a dedicated social worker. A commerce graduate, he started his professional career in the year 1999 and joined IT-enabled service companies as an accounts executive. He always believed in giving back to society and serving the needy, especially in the field of education. He was part of the core team for his company’s foundation for 3 years and then started his foundation with 3 like-minded people.

Purnima Desai

Purnima Desai a versatile HR Professional with 20+ years of well-rounded industry experience in a broad spectrum of HR including Employee Life Cycle Management (PAN India), HR Operations and Learning & Development. A degree in Psychology and post graduate degree in Personnel Management coupled with innate interest in human behaviour and body language understanding, I have established myself as a “Counsellor”.

At Sabras Foundation instrumental in setting up the centres for Girl Child Education from class 3 to 10 and Women empowerment projects to create alternate sources of income for the women wing to support them stand on their own and help in earning.

Anil Pranlal Sanghvi

He is a member of the core team at Sabras Foundation. It’s been many years since he ran and worked for a healthcare-related NGO. It was always Anil Pranlal Sanghvi’s dream to work for the good of children, especially in the areas of girl’s education and learning. He used to be a founding member of the Setu Charitable Trust, which worked to improve healthcare in Kharaghoda, Gujrat. Six years later, he joined our group and has been working with us for a better cause ever since.

Deepa Narayan

Deepa Narayan is an experienced HR worker who has worked in HR management for more than 17 years. As someone with a Master’s in Social Work (MSW), Deepa Narayan has worked as an HR leader, in strategic talent management, and in organizational growth. By building a high-performing company, encouraging talent excellence, and spreading a culture of inclusion and social responsibility, Deepa helps Sabras reach its goal of getting more girls to go to school and get medical care.

Ambu Patel

Core team member at Sabaras, Ambu Patel Son of Salt Worker ( Agariya), Photo journalist by profession has dedicated his life to bring forward the miseries and hard life of salt workers of Kharaghoda in Surendranagar-Gujarat. He is using his profession to be voice of salt workers. He is instrumental in bringing forward the problems of Agariya community in Kharaghoda and help them have a better life. Ambu Patel is guiding force for Sabras in the Kharaghoda village to bring in change.

Vaibhavi Patel

Vaibhavi Patel core team member of foundation has done MCA from India and MBA finance and SAP from the USA. She started her career with an IT company in India as an Administrative and HR executive for 6 years before moving to the USA. After completing her MBA in the USA she worked with a Pharmaceuticals company as Profitability Analyst for their SAP division. She came back to India in 2010 and did a Montessori teaching course. Here she got interested in teaching kids especially girls and came in contact with the Sabras foundation. She felt she found what she was looking for and got associated as a core team member taking care of the education administration. She strongly believe that women at any age are the pillars of every home and society.

K.G. Narayanan

K. G. Narayanan, a distinguished Indian Air Force veteran, brings over three decades of disciplined service, leadership, and commitment. With deep expertise in aviation meteorology and later in corporate export–import and logistics management, he blends military precision with strong organizational capability. Known for his integrity and resilient “never-say-die” spirit, he continues to serve society beyond his professional roles. He actively contributes to the Sabras Foundation, supporting its mission of empowering the girl child through education and equal opportunity—reflecting his strong belief in community upliftment and social responsibility.

Harsh Sojitra

Harsh Sojitra is an HR professional who believes people are the real heartbeat of any workplace. With a blend of curiosity, empathy, and a “let’s fix this” mindset, he focuses on creating smoother processes, better communication, and a work culture where everyone feels included and valued. Beyond work, Harsh channels his time and heart into the Sabras Foundation, supporting projects that uplift girls’ education and women empowerment. For him, growth isn’t just a career milestone—it’s a responsibility to community, culture, and becoming a better human every day.
